PeopleReady associate finds event staff jobs in several U.S. states
Where can you find a job that allows you to travel and work in a variety of exciting locations? Just ask Wallace Stickelmeyer, a PeopleReady associate since 2015 who works primarily in live events with a focus on event setup and teardown.
Wallace lives in Spokane, Washington, and has worked part-time jobs with us in other U.S. states, including Nebraska and Hawaii. With PeopleReady, Wallace has enjoyed meeting new people and creating memories of a lifetime. His favorite event was held at Aloha Stadium located on the island of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Wallace currently works with Spokane Public Facilities Department (SPFD) using public transportation to get to and from work because the job sites are close to home. The organization owns and operates four facilities including the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena, the First Interstate Center for the Arts, the Spokane Convention Center and a new multi-sport venue, The Podium. These facilities are among the top event venues in the Spokane area, with sporting events, concerts and entertainment activities year-round.
As a PeopleReady associate, Wallace works behind the scenes during countless playoff games, musical performances and more. The opportunity to be as close to the action as possible is one of the biggest perks of the job. So too is the small part he plays in giving audiences a fun and exciting experience when they attend events supported by SPFD.
