DALLAS, Tex.—March 17, 2022—The Dallas area is in the midst of a job boom, with the number of available jobs soaring to 277,000, a 52% increase in job postings from the same time period last year, according to a new analysis being released today by staffing firm PeopleReady.
Some of the highest numbers of job postings come from the restaurant, customer service and retail industries, finds the analysis which details the top jobs hiring right now. According to the analysis, some of the hottest jobs in the Dallas area include:
- Customer service representatives
- Restaurant workers including waiters and waitresses, cooks and food service managers
- Retail salespeople
- Freight and stock workers
- Maintenance workers
- Cleaners
“The job market in Dallas is growing in several vital areas.
